I’ve been a fan of Locomalito’s work since I was first introduced to it almost 2 years ago! The man works independently with a very small team and offers his games for FREE, though he does accept donations via PayPal.
The Curse of Issyos is slated for public release on December 15th, 2015, but those who’d like to play the game earlier can make a donation and treat themselves to a side-scrolling action-adventure set in Ancient Greece! An epic tale of a father doing what he has to do in order to save his daughter from a horrific fate!
Thanks for watching, and Lumpz the Clown OUT!

Greetings, folks! Lumpz the Clown here, and if you couldn’t tell by simply looking around, I’ve been REALLY FUCKING BUSY! Aside from the obvious layout changes and content additions, I’ve mostly been hanging in the background promoting some of the excellent content I’ve come across on the Interwebz lately!
Further, I’ve also eliminated certain “time vacuums” from my own IRL! What does that mean?! Well, new content, of course! Read on a get schooled, good people! Continue reading
(Note: The point of Twitter-PAINTED is to offer a spoiler-free review of an epic, new (to me) game after an hour of play. You get a small sampling here, and I encourage you to check it out for yourself!)
Well, folks, it happened again: I was completely blown away by yet another indie gem! Xeodrifter , by Renegade Kid, is a title I picked up on Steam while on vacation to the Oregon Coast this last Memorial Day weekend! However, I didn’t get the chance to play it until I got back home!
After settling back into my loose interpretation of a “routine”, I plugged in my XBox 360 controller and spent a good hour with Xeodrifter. From what I understood from the game’s description, I was going to be in for some planetary exploration to find the parts necessary to fix the character’s damaged engine.
Little did I realize that what I was getting into was a healthy dose of gaming awesomeness that hearkens back to great titles like Super Metroid, Blaster Master and Mega Man! Continue reading
I know what your thinking! Nice Bambi reference, right? To tell you the truth, this seemingly out-of-place adjective is the most precise way to describe the feeling I get when I come across a TRULY AWESOME game out of nowhere! What I classify as “truly awesome” may not be the same as others, but it all comes down to one simple idea that I feel we can all relate to: does it invoke a strong emotion? Continue reading
I’m not gonna lie…this looks AWESOME!
Last October, I was asked by Joe Chang to take a look at/LP his pre-alpha first-person, roguelike horror game: Phantasmal! Even though it was a very early version, I was immediately captivated by its creepy sound effects and enemies.
Since then, Joe has moved the action to what appears to be a dilapidated hotel. While I was capturing the gameplay, I had some genuine jumpscare moments, which I will be showing off in a stream later today, when I take on Phantasmal yet again! Links to everything, including the Steam Key giveaway I’m hosting, are included below!
