Heya, folks! Lumpz the Clown here, and I’m here YET AGAIN to let you know what’s going on inside my clowny world and what you can all expect going forward! Bombs are continually being built and dropped over here at Lumpz the Clown Entertainment, and February is shaping up to be EVEN CRAZIER!
First off, JD McFly of TheTrueNHonest issued a community-wide retrogaming challenge: Play TMNT for the NES using ONLY Raphael! The list of LPers who have participated in this challenge continues to grow, but also include some good friends of mine, such as: Adam from ReplayAbility, Mark Walsh of ithurts topoop (Lol…his FIRST attempt can be viewed here), Brasel of Brasel the Gamer, @utahpunk of ROM with a View, and Bene of BenevolentDickNES! As of today (1/30/15), yet ANOTHER response was posted by maximpact24, and his video can be peeped here!
There is NO DEADLINE if you are interested in taking this challenge, but to make my job easier in finding your submission, tag your video as “Red Swayze Challenge”, mention me or JD on Twitter, preferably BOTH! JD is compiling a playlist of everyone who participates, so don’t be shy, put on your bullet-proof cup, and get your retrogaming ASS involved!
As for me, I will NOT be streaming tomorrow sadly, but I will be HARD AT WORK on a new video and am aiming to have that shit up by tomorrow night, so stay tuned! I am also crafting up a new concept for my Twitch channel, but it’s still in its infancy stages! What it will be exactly once I’m done creating the concept, I have no idea, but rest assured it will have my clowny stamp of approval on it, and will engage the community in a new and exciting way, so stay tuned!
Going forward, I should begin work on my Manhunt and Silent Hill 3 LPs here soon, as well as a showcase of one of the most awesome indie developers around: LOCOMALITO! If you haven’t checked out his site yet, I HIGHLY SUGGEST doing so, because the man has made some AMAZING games that take retrogaming folks like us BACK IN TIME! No sissy trophies or rewards for mediocre gameplay here, just AWESOMENESS! Extras accompany the games as well, and include soundtracks, DVD and CD art, as well as POSTERS, so what are you waiting for?! Get your ass over there NOW!
The project that I have in mind for Locomalito will be GINORMOUS, and the reason that I’m going on this little campaign is the fact that he is one of the PUREST developers I have come across! He only accepts donations for his work, and what separates him from the pack is that he hasn’t sold his soul to the advertising models that have become standard, and he TRULY enjoys what he does! Consider kicking that dude down a donation, because believe me, developers like this are RARE!
As for Gaming Rebellion, we are currently going through a site revamp, so expect some eye-popping freshness coming here within the next couple of weeks! In the meantime, the site is functional and we should have some new content coming up next week, so keep your eyes open for that, as well!
On that note, I’ll sign off on this update, but before I do, remember that we ALL share a passion for this little hobby of ours, and the fact that we can come together on a challenge like the Red Swayze Challenge just melts my clowny heart! Stay gaming, and Lumpz the Clown OUT!
